Who you're hiring

"Customers getting three quotes for a kitchen aren't comparing prices first. They're comparing who looks like they'll actually turn up and do the job properly. Your website decides that before you've even spoken to them."

£2m PLI BiKBBI requires

BiKBBI is the only government-sanctioned body for kitchen, bedroom and bathroom installation.

The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) is the UK's only government-sanctioned not-for-profit organisation dedicated to KBB installation. Membership requires £2m+ public liability, electrical contractor declarations, and ongoing compliance checks.

Kitchen fitting almost always involves gas (cookers/hobs) and electrical work. BiKBBI explicitly cross-checks subcontractors against the live NICEIC, NAPIT, and Gas Safe registers. Surfacing those underlying credentials, even when subbed, is both honest and a strong trust signal.

Source: BiKBBI. Now also operating as BIFIS (British Institute of Fitted Interiors Specialists). Both names in circulation.

The maths

If one extra kitchen install a quarter finds you at £2,500 margin, what's that worth across a year?

£10,000 of additional margin from being on the customer's shortlist when they shop locally. Pays for the Growth plan ten times over. See what's in Growth.

Questions kitchen fitters ask us

Common questions, plain answers.

How important is BiKBBI?
It's the dominant accreditation in the trade: government-sanctioned, requires £2m+ PLI, and cross-checks your subcontractors against the live registers. We surface it in the hero with the directory linked. Combined with KBSA, it's the credibility stack customers shortlist on.
I sub out the gas and electrical work. Should the site reflect that?
Yes, and surfacing those relationships is honest and a real trust signal. We list your named Gas Safe and NICEIC subcontractors so customers can verify them. BiKBBI explicitly cross-checks these declarations themselves.
Can the site show the brands I fit?
Yes. Howdens, Magnet, Wren, Symphony, Masterclass. Whichever you hold a trade account with. Howdens in particular is trade-only and customers recognise the relationship as a professional credential.
Will the portfolio justify £8k+ pricing?
Yes. We build a proper photo gallery indexed by style (modern, shaker, handleless, bespoke). Kitchen fits are high-consideration purchases. Customers shortlist on portfolio before they shortlist on price.
How fast can the site go live?
Seven days from the discovery call. Once we have your BiKBBI number, trade relationships, subcontractor declarations, and a folder of completed-kitchen photos, we usually get a first build over within 4 to 5 days.
