The story

Twenty-seven years on Leeds rooftops. Two generations.

My dad, Peter, started Northgate in 1998 from a workshop in Hunslet. I grew up on building sites in school holidays, fetching tools and learning what a slating hammer was for. I joined properly straight out of college in 2009, did my NVQ, and worked alongside him for the next ten years.

In 2019 he retired. I took over with the same two-man crew he'd trained, kept the name, kept the standards, and brought the back office into the current decade. Quotes by email the same day. Photos from the roof while we're up there. Certificates emailed before we've packed up the van.

When you ring this number, you get me, or Andy, who's been on Northgate roofs longer than I have. Not a salesperson. Not a call centre. The person who'll actually be doing the work.
